Make an Impact...Get Involved

It is imperative that our elected officials understand the importance of the banking industry to their communities and that a fair and accurate picture of the industry is represented at the Capitol.

Getting involved in the process does not take much time or effort, but it does require passion for the banking industry and a desire to inform your legislators of our issues.

Attend Bank Day at the Capitol

March 11, 2025

One of the most impactful benefits of belonging to a trade association is the ability to band together and have your voices heard at the legislature. Bank Day at the Capitol is an incredible chance to put a face and personal story on the banking industry; legislators want to meet you!

Attend the Washington, D.C. Trip

April 29 - May 1, 2025

With today’s uncertain economic and political climates, it is more important than ever that every Minnesota banker takes an active role in sharing their opinions about decisions that shape our industry. MBA’s annual Washington trip gives you the rare and unique opportunity to meet elected officials and bank regulators face to face to discuss key issues affecting the banking industry.
